TAMTAMO / DATA AND USE

Terms of Use

Functions, limits and content responsibilities for the Tamtamo music workspace.

Updated: 25 October 2026 · Based on the latest Tamtamo workspace

Publication details are incomplete. Do not use this as a final store-submission notice until operator identity, request channel and log retention are completed.

Service scope

Tamtamo offers class lists, preliminary music activities, a score library, audio/image notation, arrangements and rehearsal plans. The current local distribution has no accounts, subscriptions, payments or active external AI/audio server. This text does not state that every feature of an unreleased mobile-store version is ready.

Teacher review and technical limits

Automatic transcription, meter/duration recognition, accompaniment and role suggestions may contain errors, especially with noisy/polyphonic recordings or complex notation. The teacher checks suitability for students and instruments. Outputs do not guarantee standardised testing, diagnosis, achievement or performance-ready arrangements.

Content and copyright

You need the relevant rights to process, arrange, copy, share and perform uploaded audio, images, PDF, MusicXML, scores and works. Online availability, an “anonymous/royalty-free” label, attribution or classroom use does not universally clear all rights. Arrangements, editions, performances and recordings can have separate rights. Library labels are not licences. This notice does not generally transfer ownership of teacher-created/imported content to the developer.

Student data and permissions

Teachers/institutions must establish authority, notices and legal basis for their use. Microphone/file permission enables a device function; it does not authorise unrestricted personal-data sharing. Avoid unnecessary personal data in free text, work titles or exports. Read these terms with the privacy, student-data and deletion notices.

Backups, service changes and rights

Local backups are under user control; device failure, app-data clearing and storage limits can cause loss. Mentioning an unconnected feature does not mean it is active. New paid/online services must have their terms disclosed before activation. These terms do not remove non-waivable user/consumer rights or claim unlimited exclusion of liability.
